Liverpool Heritage Forum was founded in January 2005 as a networking organisation of voluntary cultural organisations in and around Liverpool.
From October 2009, the Forum was reconstituted on a formal basis as Liverpool Cultural Heritage Forum, strengthening its links with Liverpool City Council. Its objective is to promote and extend knowledge of the heritage of Liverpool and the surrounding areas. It will work to advance the education of the public in all matters relating to local heritage and culture in co-operation with relevant organisations and individuals
As well as maintaining this website as a gateway to the area’s voluntary heritage and cultural sector, the Forum has an email Newsletter and holds occasional public meetings and events on topics which cross the interests of several parts of the heritage and cultural sector. It has regular contacts with Liverpool City Council at Member and officer levels.
